Spikes Asia 2024: India Brings Home 4 Grands Prix Along With 3 Gold, 7 Silver & 14 Bronze Metals

One of the most prestigious and sought-after award for creativity and marketing effectiveness, Spikes Asia, has revealed the Grands Prix and Special Award winners for 2024.

The coveted gala which took place yesterday saw Indian agencies shining big as Leo Burnett (Mumbai), FCB India (Gurgaon), Ogilvy (Mumbai) and VML (Mumbai) brought home one Grand Prix each.

In the Creative Data category, Leo Burnett won the Grand Prix under the sub category of Data-enhanced Creativity for Lay’s Smart Farm.

In the Design Category, FCB India won the Grand Prix for the subcategory of Poster for STIR Magazine’s Untangling The Politics of Hair.

Under the category of Music, Ogilvy Mumbai won the Grand Prix in the sub category of Music Live Experience for Brooke Bond’s Megh Santoor.

VML (Mumbai) won the Grand Prix in Print & Publishing Category’s Media/Entertainment subcategory for The Times Of India’s Seal Alarm.

Apart from winning 4 Grand Prix, what added shining stars to India’s performance at Spikes Asia 2024 were the 3 Gold Spikes won by the Mumbai Offices of BBDO India, VML and Wavemaker.

In addition to this, DDB Mudra (Mumbai) walked away with 3 Silver Spikes and Leo Burnett (Mumbai) and Ogilvy (Mumbai) with 2 Silver Spikes each.

As for the 14 Bronze Spikes that India won this year, BBDO India (Mumbai) brought home 3; Dentsu Creative (Gurgaon)- 2; Ogilvy (Mumbai)- 2, including one with Good Morning Films; VML (Mumbai)- 2; and DDB Mudra (Mumbai), Brand David Communications (Mumbai), Mindshare, Leo Burnett and LintasLive- one each.

But despite winning big, India failed to get a metal in categories such as Digital Craft, Entertainment, Film, Gaming, Integrated, Radio & Audio, Social Influencer, Glass: The Award For Change and Grand Prix for Good.
